Facts about Car- First Incident in the History

1. The World’s First Car to officially break the sound barrier was Thrust SSC (Super Sonic Car), a British jet-propelled car on 15th Oct 1997 when it achieved a speed of 763 mph.





2. The World’s First Car that was strictly built to break the Land-speed record was The BLUEBIRD. Malcolm Campbell of England drove the Napier –Campbell Bluebird to 174.883mph.




3. The World’s First long distance automobile driver in the world was Bertha Benz, wife of Karl Benz (The inventor of modern automobile).





4. The World’s First Country to issue license plates (Number plates at that time) was France in 1893.




5.  The First State of any country in the World’s to require car license plates by law was the State of New York on April 25, 1901.
